Being an established top ranking offensive NHL blueliner, Guy Lapointe was an essential part of the legendary Montreal Canadiens of the 1970’s. He was an extremely crafty blueliner able to play effectively in both defense and offense. His remarkable skill set included great skating and slick puckhandling, powerful shooting and an incredible offensive talent for a defenseman.
