ABOUT THE TOP 100 NHL LIST
In 1998, The Hockey News asked 50 voters representing all facets of NHL history to rank the best players ever. The list is an interesting outlook on the best players in the NHL.

Although Team Canada 1974 was not represented by the NHL, most of its players either played in the NHL besides the 1972-79 WHA seasons.
