ELECTIONS: 1970

The World Wide Hockey Hall of Fame is pleased to welcome Ted Lindsay, Sven "Tumba" Johansson and Dan Bain.

SIHR President Ernie Fitzsimmons lobbied hard for Bain's induction. Said Lloyd Davis, "Oh, great! Now that Dan Bain is in the Hall, I have to go and revise the ballot template I've been using since about 1948! When Ernie asked me if I might consider throwing my support behind Bain, I said, 'Consider it? I've been trying to *will* him into the Hall for so long!'
